Volunteer with Shelter Chic!

We're actively seeking volunteers and interns with huge hearts for dogs and cats. We need help running errands, making pet transportation arrangements, performing administrative duties, doing simple paperwork and organizing.

We guarantee that you WON’T get bored! You’ll be working closely with Shelter Chic leaders, which means you'll experience all of the ever-changing day-to-day responsibilities and see what it takes to lead a rescue group.

If any of the following qualities or attributes describe you, you may be the perfect addition to our team!

• Past experience with animals
• Passion for animal rescue
• Flexible hours
• Familiarity and ease with social media
• Legal ability to drive and/or access to a car to help transport animals (we provide gas money)
• Located close to or in NYC
• Dog or cat training experience
